You are warmly invited to participate in the 22nd Maccabiah Junior International Chess Competition, which will be held at the TBA Hotel, Netanya between July 9th -July 18th.

Tournament details:

7-round Swiss System (FIDE rated).

Time control:  1h30+30 sec increment per move.

All Israeli players should have an Israeli Chess Federation license 2025 or pay 90 NIS in rating fees.

The opening ceremony and pairings will take place on Friday 11/7 at 9:30.

Please note: The Official opening ceremony of the Maccabiah will take place on Thursday 10/7

Prizes:

The closing ceremony will take place on Friday 18/7 at 15:00. Attendance is mandatory.

Winners will receive traditional Maccabiah medals and prizes.

Tie-breaks: points, Bucholz cut one, Bucholz, number of games played with black, number of wins.

Who can participate:

Players born between 2007-2011 with FIDE chess ratings (special cases of unrated players will be considered individually).

Accommodation:

Israeli players should organise accommodation by themselves, for example through booking websites. Foreign players should organise accommodation through their national Maccabiah headquarters.

Maccabiah special merchandise:

Joggers, polo dri-fit t-shirt, tailored shorts, 2 t-shirts, sockers, and sports bag: 365 NIS. Cost 530 NIS (165 NIS are subsidised by Maccabiah), limited edition, first-come, first-served basis.
